Choosing an image

Important: Before you proceed, ensure the image files are in the Project you are working on.

When editing a page, you can insert or replace any image where the "Choose Image" icon appears.

  • Click on Choose Image; a Lightbox will appear showing thumbnails of the files you have access to.
  • Search for the image you wish to use:
    • By sorting through the entire list, or
    • By filtering via Project and keyword/file name search
The selected image will appear to the right in the box only if it is large enough for the space to be used.

Click insert to proceed, or select another image, then insert to proceed.

You are now at the Image Manipulation screen, where the selected image can be cropped and scaled to size.
  • The shaded white window box over the original image represents what the new cropped image will be.
  • Use the slider bar (top right) to resize the image larger or smaller.
  • Shift the window anywhere over the image to capture some or all of the image.
  • Only what appears inside the white box will appear.
  • When done, click 'Save'.

#Note - any cropped image will create a new copy of the original file in Files. All cropped files in Publisher have the keyword "cropped". They can be deleted without affecting the website.
