Accessing Your Device Settings

In this lesson, you’ll learn how to access your device once it’s on display in your store or retail space.

You’ve successfully programmed your device , and it’s now ready to display your content to your customers. To mount it in your store or retail space, please follow the instructions that came with your device.

You may have noticed that once your device began playing your programmed content, it became locked down, so your customers are unable to use it for anything else.

However, if you or your staff should need to access the administrative settings of your device , you can do so with the use of a special gesture, called the Hourglass swipe.

To make this gesture, swipe your finger across the device's screen in the shape of a backwards “8”.

This gesture opens an “admin screen”, which—after you’ve entered your password—allows you to change a number of the device's settings, including how the device connects to the internet.

Once you’ve finished working in the admin screen, it will go back to the admin log in and ask for the password again.

Click on "Clear" when you're done to go back to playing content on your device.
