Catalogue fields give more depth and more distinction to a product, it gives more characteristic and distinction.
Adding a catalogue field

Click on catalogue administration

Click on catalogue fields
Step 3
After clicking on catalogue field you will be sent to the catalogue field list

Click on add catalogue field
Step 5
After clicking add catalogue field, you will be sent to this page. Fill in the textbox with something that would describe the product, For example: Size

Now for the type, a type is a way to simplify the added description , there are many ways in selecting the type for the description, but for now let's use selection

Then click next

After clicking next you will see a new textbox, that textbox needs to be filled out with different ways to describe the said description, in this case, I've typed in extra small

Clicking on the + button will add another text box, to give you more words to describe the description

The - button will delete the newly created textbox

After everything is done, click on save

You can now see your newly created category field on the category field's list
Now you can fully use your new category field inside the add product module
